We have the largest and busiest Emergency Department in the system with 102 care spaces and over 80,000 visits per year and 100+ ambulances a day. Choose from five (5) different shift times – 7A, 9A, 11A, 3P, and 7P – and experience low nurse-to-patient ratios. In the heart of Atlanta, we service a diverse population with a wide variety of chief complaints for patients of all ages, including:
- Chest pain
- Stroke
- MVA
- CHF
- COPD
- Renal
- Trauma
- Cardiac/respiratory arrest – Level I Emergency Cardiac Care Center (ECCC)
- Sickle cell
- Asthma
- Cancer
