Your Path to Excellence in Nursing
Our 12-month transition-to-practice program utilizes the Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency Program. We offer a series of learning and work experiences designed to assist you as you transition into your first professional role as an RN. The program is designed for newly licensed registered nurses with no prior experience as an RN.

Cohorts

Cohorts
Cohorts are determined based on your start date. Applications for the Nurse Residency Program are always open, and if hired, your cohort will be determined by your start date. For consideration for the Critical Care Units, having clinical experience, externships, senior practicums, or specific courses as part of the nursing curriculum is highly preferred.

How It Works

How it Works
As residents, you will participate in the residency program while simultaneously completing your department orientation. Each month, you will attend a four-hour learning session and work on an evidence-based practice project, which must be completed by the end of the 12-month residency program. Attendance is mandatory, and you will be paid for the nurse residency sessions. During these sessions, you will have the chance to interact with clinical experts, collaborate on resolving clinical challenges and gain valuable insights into the resources available to support your practice.
