Minimum Qualifications for Internal Travel Team Opportunities:

Outpatient Surgical Services/Wound, Ostomy and Continence (WOC)

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited pre-licensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) AND completion of an accredited WOC Nursing Education program.
  • Two years’ experience as an RN.
  • Must have a valid, active, unencumbered nursing license approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing.
  • BLS certification.
  • ACLS may be required in designated departments.
  • Must achieve certification in Wound Care and Ostomy Care within 12 months.

Internal Travel Team Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurse (WOC)

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Two and a half years of recent wound, ostomy and continence nursing experience. 
  • Currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Georgia. BLS required. ACLS may be required. 
  • Completion of an accredited WOC nursing education program is required.
  • Professional wound, ostomy, and continence board certifications is required within one year of employment with the Emory Staffing Pool (ESP).

Internal Travel Team Med Surg/Acute Care Clinical Instructor/RN 

Minimum Qualifications:
  • MSN required. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Two and a half years of recent and relevant nursing experience in medical-surgical/acute care. The experience must be within the last five years.
  • Current licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Georgia. BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and/or FHM certifications relevant to the role are required.
  • Professional certification in med-surg/acute care completion is required within one year of employment with ESP. 

Emory Midtown, Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurse (WOC )

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Two and a half years of recent wound, ostomy and continence nursing experience. 
  • Currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Georgia. BLS required. ACLS may be required. 
  • Completion of an accredited WOC nursing education program is required.
  • Professional wound, ostomy, and continence board certifications is required within one year of employment with the Emory Staffing Pool (ESP).

Intensive Care Unit/ICU/Facility Float Registered Nurse 

Minimum Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Must have a valid, active, unencumbered nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing. 
  • 24 months of recent ICU nursing experience within the past five years. 
  • BLS required. ACLS and PALS may also be required based on the clinical area of assignment and patient population.

Internal Travel Team Surgical Tech

Minimum Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Successful completion of an accredited surgical technician training program.
  • Two and a half years of recent and relevant experience as a surgical technologist. 
  • Professional surgical tech certification is required within one year of employment. 
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, in accordance with the American Heart Association, is required.

Internal Travel Team Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with two and a half years of recent experience in an intensive care unit within the past five years.
  • Currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Georgia.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP and/or FHM (relevant to role) required.
  • Professional certification in at least one relevant specialty area is preferred.
  • Completion of professional certification in the relevant specialty area is required within one year of employment.

Internal Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. 
  • Two and a half years of recent nursing experience in the operating room within the past five years.
  • Currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Georgia.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and/or FHM (relevant to role) required.
  • Professional certification in at least one relevant specialty area is preferred.
  • Completion of professional certification in the relevant specialty area is required within one year of employment.

Internal Travel Team Med-Surg/Acute Care Registered Nurse

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with two and a half years of recent experience in med-surg/acute care within the past five years.
  • Currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Georgia.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and/or FHM (relevant to role) required.
  • Professional certification in at least one relevant specialty area is preferred.
  • Completion of professional certification in the relevant specialty area is required within one year of employment.

Internal Travel Team Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP)

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Currently licensed as an active respiratory care practitioner in the state of Georgia. Registered respiratory therapist (RRT) credential by the National Board of Respiratory Care. 
  • Two and a half years of experience in respiratory care.
  • Preferred membership in the American Association of Respiratory Care (AARC). 
  • Other Requirements (if applicable): BLS and ACLS required. 
  • PALS required for pediatric care. 
  • NRP required for special care nursery/NICU within one year of hire. 
  • ACCS credential for critical care is required within one year of hire. 
  • NPS credential for NICU within one year of hire.
  • CPFT or RPFT for PFT areas within one year of hire.
  • AE-C credential for Asthma Clinic within one year of hire. 
  • Preferred experience: NICU, ICU, ECMO, CVICU, ED, inpatient, outpatient, and interventional pulmonary.
